PC Tanks considers its operations and efforts legitimate and relevant only as far as they are accomplished in ways that do not cause harm to employees, contractors, or the community. We consider the safety, health and wellbeing of our staff, associates and those influenced by our operations to be a leading indicator for the success of the company.

Employees should consider it a duty to actively foster a no-harm work culture and participate in the process of improving the safety of work practices. The Chain of Responsibility places different but vital responsibility on all members of the PC Tanks team to ensure a culture of safety is ubiquitous and safety policies and procedures are implemented.

We will achieve this through:

  • Complying with all safety legislation, Codes of Practice and standards relevant to the organization including ASNZS4801:2001;
  • Establishing and maintaining effective safety communications and consultation across the organization though the use of Toolbox Meetings and daily Pre-Start Meetings;
  • To ensure all employees, contractors, visitors and related personnel are aware of and are familiar with their obligations under this policy;
  • To provide regular, adequate and effective training and supervision for all employees to enable them to carry out their work safely;
  • To establish measurable safety standards and targets with a focus on eliminating injury and harm;
  • To actively seek ways to improve processes and practices;
  • Undertake to help our people to achieve full recovery through prompt treatment and active rehabilitation
    programs following workplace illness or injury.
  • Perform an annual review of the Safety Policy to ensure its ongoing relevance.
  • Educate our employees on fatigue management, fit-for-drive-duty concepts and safe vehicle management.
  • Educate our employees on the Chain of Responsibility within the organisation.
  • Providing maintained, safe and fit for purpose plant and equipment.

    formally reviewing the results in quarterly Management Review Meetings;
  • An annual review of the Quality Policy by the Management Team to ensure its continued suitability
  • Training its personnel to a high level to ensure that personnel members have the appropriate competencies and
    skills to ensure our quality goals are maintained.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

POLICY STATEMENT

PC Tanks Water’s aim is to achieve a high standard of care for the natural environment in all of our activities and to prevent, where possible, any damage to the environment during the course of our workplace activities in which we engage. This policy is applicable to PC Tanks in all its operations and functions including those situations where employees are required to work at various locations.

COMMITMENT TO ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS

We are committed to:

  • Minimising the scope of our adverse environmental impacts;
  • Seeking ways to build the strength of communities in which we operate;
  • Open co-operation with the community regarding environmental issues.

RESPONSIBILITY

It is the responsibility of all employees and partners to understand and actively implement the principles embodied in this policy. Employees should consider it a duty to actively foster a culture of zero environmental damage and participate in the process of improving the environmental management practices

We will achieve this through:

  • Complying with relevant legislation, codes of practice, licenses and planning requirements and standards including
    ISO14001:2004;
  • Identifying, assessing, managing and monitoring environmental risks a rising from our business activities;
  • Communicating and consulting regularly with workers about our environmental aim and individual responsibilities in relation to environmental protection and awareness;
  • Reporting any environmental incidents at the earliest convenience;
  • Providing environmental awareness training and education to our workers;
  • Maintaining continuous improvement of the SQE Management System;
  • Monitoring the performance of the Environmental Management System by undertaking internal audits and reviewing the results in formal quarterly Management Review Meetings;
  • Maintaining objectives that are measurable and time limited; monitoring performance against objectives; reviewing and analysing trends and taking corrective or preventative or preventative measures as deemed necessary;
  • This policy will be reviewed annually, upgraded and monitored to improve standards, awareness and performance. All management and personnel are expected to work co-operatively to effectively implement this policy.

SQE OBJECTIVES

PC Tanks is committed to consistently achieving its 2023/2024 financial year objectives as stated below:

Strict adherence to ITP procedures on all applicable projects;

Customer feedback scores of 4 or greater;

Satisfactory project hand-over meetings with clients on all applicable projects;

100% of all projects are completed within the agreed time;

All projects shall be completed within 10% tolerance of the projected cost;

Adherence to safe vehicle usage and travel procedures.
